Help Christine Lowery Get Essential Home Care

Hello, I am Kathy Storms. My husband, Ray Storms, and I are doing this GoFundMe for my best friend of 47 years, Christine Lowery. She was diagnosed with frontal lobe cancer in January 2022 and had surgery to remove the tumor. She went through Chemotherapy and Radiation treatments throughout the summer of 2022. In August of 2022, she had a glimmer of hope, only to find out in October 2022 that there was another tumor.

She had another brain surgery in November of 2022 and since then, it has been in and out of rehabilitation centers until July 2023 when she had a debilitating stroke. She was in and out of the hospital and rehabilitation centers again until October 2023 when she was brought home. She has been bedridden since February 2024.

She needs an aid to be with her 24/7 so she can have the care she deserves! This service is not covered by insurance; it is all out of pocket and money is extremely tight. Any help that you can give towards keeping Christine at home with the aid taking very good care of her would be appreciated! Thank you very much for taking the time to read this.
