Help Christine Rebuild After Flooding from Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
On Saturday, September 28, 2024, Christine Hardter literally lost everything in Hurricane Helene. She lost all of her furniture, personal items, food, clothing, electronics, etc.
Additionally, her area’s local officials are making everyone evacuate their homes because there was over 18 inches of water in all of the houses on her block. Her home and her neighbor's home are deemed uninhabitable and unsafe to live in anymore.
Thankfully, she is physically alright, and luckily, she still has her car, because she parked her car a mile away from her home prior to the storm getting really bad. If she hadn't done this, she would be without a car as well, because when she was evacuating her home, the water was up to her chest.
She is distraught and very upset. She said the inside of the house smells so bad now that she cannot go back in without a durable mask. With the help of her parents, she was able to rent a U-Haul truck on Sunday, September 29, 2024, to try to get what she can salvage, but sadly the house itself is a wash and there will definitely be mold. Thankfully, she is only renting, but she just found out the landlord has no flood insurance, and unfortunately, she didn’t have rental insurance. Additionally, Christine also let me know the landlord has just put the building up for sale, leaving her truly without a home at this time.
Needless to say, she is really stressed and scared. I can’t imagine how she feels, but I wanted to just create this GoFundMe to hopefully assist her in monetarily, in the hopes this money can help bring her a little bit of ease and normalcy.
Any amount would be appreciated as she has a massive financial undertaking ahead. Whether it is $1, or $10, we thank you so much. No amount is too little, it all adds up, and Christine will truly appreciate this.
She has a lot of work to do to rebuild, but if we can help raise some money on her behalf, then I can only hope this can make her life a bit easier.
A little about me, my name is Camille Arce-Persia, and I am Christine's direct manager at Acosta Group. Christine is a valuable Sales Representative on our Southeast team, and once we heard about what happened, and saw the images, we at Acosta Group had to do something to help.
100% of all proceeds will go directly to Christine Hardter to help her rebuild her life.
Thank you so much in advanced,
