Help Christine's Huntington's battle

UPDATE: We have been able to secure state medicaid for Christine! There are still a few expenses that medicaid does not cover, but her main medical expenses are now covered. Thank you to everyone who has donated. I have also used some of the donations toward a new chair for her room that is safer and much more padded.

Christine is a lovely 35 year old that has been diagnosed with Huntington's disease. Huntington's disease is a neurological degenerative disease (The brain starts to shut down over time) for which there is no cure. Her symptoms didn't start becoming obvious until she was 31. t. Christine has been a stay-at-home mom for 3 beautiful children. They are now 16, 13, and 9. The two oldest live with their father, and the 9 year old lives with her father and Christine's husband. Over the past 4 or so years her symptoms have reached a point where it has become too dangerous for her to live at home. She now resides in a skilled nursing facility where she is well taken car

f. Christine has no insurance at this point to cover her medical expenses, and social security along with medicaid continue to deny her coverage. Social security denies her due to lack of work credits (she was a stay-at-home mom). Medicaid denies her because her husband works. Even divorce is out of the question because social security and medicaid will both claim fraud. Skilled nursing homes are expensive and financially out of reach for her husband. The facility she is currently residing in has covered her expenses thus far, but they will need to be compensated l
