Help Christopher and Aowyne through the short term crisis.

Hello, my name is Christopher, though many of you know he as Skutterbotch. In early April I lost my job of 4 years. This began a series of unfortunate events that has led to today's request.

Through over 80 applications, 15 interviews, and more sleepless nights than I can count now I have recieved an offer for a new job. Here's the trouble. The new job didn't start until May 28th and rent and electric have not been paid for the majority of April and all of May. We have subsequently recieved a 30 day notice to pay or vacate our home. And, you guessed it, that 30 days ends on May 20th. The same day my new job starts.

In addition to rent needs, my car registration and state required inspection has lapsed preventing me from doing gig based work such as Uber and Doordash. Automatic payments have hit my bank account causing it to overdraw to the tune of over $350, my payment arrangement with the electric company has fallen behind and threats of disconnection have been recieved. Cell phones are about to be disconnected due to non payment. And the list goes on.

The picture is clear. Like many we were living paycheck to paycheck and without those paychecks the entire house of cards is crumbling. With each day the immediate debt grows.

My daughter is working part time as she prepares to begin college, but her hours are miniscule and we've been using her income to cover gas to get us both to work, food, and the basic essentials of life (e.i. toilet paper, dog/cat food, etc)

We have exhausted all options we can think of and have only succeeded in making a miniscule dent in what is owed. And time is running out. As such, the time has come to swallow my pride and ask for help from anyone who is willing.

We've all fallen on hard times in our lives. And it's often through our friends, family and loved ones that we are lifted out of the mire. That's what we're asking of you. Anyone who knows me understands how difficult this is for me to ask.

We love all of you and thank you for any support you are willing to offer. Be it a donation, sharing the platform, or simply prayers. The tunnel is dark. We will find a way through it and come out the other side, it's just hard to see the light right now.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

It's been indicated by gfm that a detailed outline of where the money would be allocated is useful to potential Donors. So here is the breakdown.

A) $598.16 will bring checking account to zero
B) $2349.44 to rent
C) $327.56 making vehicle legal
D) estimated $300 G.F.M fees
E) anything possibly left goes to the power company who we owe over $1400 total to but are $600 behind on payment arrangement with.

Hope that helps give perspective and I one again thank one and all for your continued support.
