Help the CHS Track & Field Team go to Nationals

HELLO Columbia HS Families and Fans!

The Parents Association is proud to announce that several (12-15) members of both the Winter and Spring Track Teams have qualified for NATIONALS. Since "NATIONALS" are not State-of- NJ-sanctioned meets, Columbia High School is not allowed to pay the entrance or travel fees for these students.

All costs are on the athletes and their families.

Thanks to the efforts of the athletes and the parent volunteers, we’ve already committed a generous amount to help our Nationals qualifiers defray the cost of attending these prestigious events. Every additional dollar you contribute will go directly to making sure every one of our athletes gets to attend and compete at the highest level.

There are three NATIONALS meets, all occurring on the same weekend: June 12-16, (Nike in Oregon~ New Balance in Philadelphia~ADIDAS in North Carolina). We want to give every athlete who qualifies the chance to participate in the meet that is the best fit for them. Some athletes plan to attend a Nationals location that will require airfare and hotel costs.

This is a great experience for all of the athletes, and for some of these athletes, competing well at NATIONALS will help them stand out and be noticed by coaches so they can compete in college.
