Help Chuck Wiley Fight Cancer
Donation protected
Chuck Wiley, aka the Hot Dog Man at The Gospel Barn (Hillsdale, Michigan) has been diagnosed with cancer in his tonsil and lymph nodes in his neck. The prognosis is good, and we are confident he can go through this temporary trial with renewed strength and continued faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
He is a vital part of The Gospel Barn Family and will be missed by many as he goes through this treatment and recovery in Florida. He has dedicated the past 30 years to the Gospel Barn ministry, adding to the enjoyment of all who attend. If you have been to the Barn, you have undoubtedly been served a piping hot and delicious hot dog by this smiling guy.
However, his work goes far beyond the hot dog machine on Saturday evenings as he spends time each day cleaning and helping maintain the Barn facility and grounds. The Gospel Barn would not be what it is today without the faithful service of Chuck and Norma.
Treatment must begin soon to allow for the best possible outcome--which is BEATING THIS CANCER!!!
Now, they need our help. He is scheduled to begin radiation therapy very soon in Jacksonville, Florida, which will entail daily treatments for six weeks. This will be costly as Medicare will not cover these services. It is also going to be physically, emotionally and mentally exhausting.
We know there are many friends and family members that would like to help during this difficult time. That's why we are here.
The first and most important thing you can do is PRAY for:
- Strength for Chuck & Norma as they go through the next six weeks
- Wisdom for the doctors and nurses as they provide care
Another way you can help is by making a donation towards the cost of his treatment. By providing financial assistance, you will be helping to relieve the stress and worry that goes along with wondering how to pay for this, allowing him to put all his energy into healing and recovering from his treatments.
Thank you for reading and considering a donation.
