Help Chucky Burns’s battle

Hi, my name is Kristen. I am Chucky‘s girlfriend. I am trying to raise money for Chucky’s recent cancer diagnosis. He was diagnosed with Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), which is a form of skin cancer. Chucky’s was found in his thyroid which makes it an unusual and rare type of cancer.

Starting in October, 2023, he had his first ultrasound on his thyroid, which at that point, they found an abnormal spot.

On February 14th, he went to the Doctors for a biopsy. The results showed that it was SCC.

On March 20th, Chucky had his thyroid removed. Unfortunately, when removing the thyroid, they found a larger tumor located on his esophagus, compromising his right vocal cord. The Doctors removed both tumors and some lymph nodes. After doing a second biopsy of the tumor and lymph nodes that they removed, it appeared that the SCC was more aggressive then they originally thought.

Chucky has a long road ahead of him, starting with six weeks of radiation, followed by aggressive chemotherapy treatments resulting in Chucky being unable to work.

As all of you may know, insurance does not cover all the expenses, the co-pays, the medication‘s and the treatments.

If you know Chucky, like I know Chucky, he has a great heart and has been a hard worker his whole life. This is very difficult for him, especially asking for help. So that is why I’m doing it for him. Anything helps.
