Help Chynna Rebuild After Devastating Airport Fire
Donation protected
On Monday, the Airport Fire in Lake Elsinore broke out, burning over 28,000 acres, destroying over 29 structures, and displacing many families.
My friend Chynna Parks was evacuated Tuesday with over 100ft flames surrounding her home and car as she left. The fire advanced towards her home in the El Cariso area extremely fast.
Chynna was able to get herself and her dogs to safety, but was unable to save some of her animals, bees, and structures. Her home was spared by firefighters, but there is no power or electricity. She was able to return to the property for a short time yesterday, where her barn, bee hives, and other structures were burned down (see photos). While her home is still standing, there is significant damage like melted doors, blown-out windows, and no other structures on her property were spared. She is going to be displaced for the foreseeable future as there is no power or water restored. There are no updates on when she will be able to return to her home or rebuild.
Our goal is to support Chynna with funds to help her while she is displaced and to help her rebuild her home. Chynna is not only a lover of nature, she is a beekeeper and this property was a labor of love for her. Please help us support Chynna in this time while she is displaced and rebuilding her home.
