Help Ciara go to school

Hi there! 

My name is Ciara (most of you probably know that lol), and I am embarrassed to be doing this, but it’s for a good cause and I am running out of options! 

I am unemployed in this pandemic and it’s been a little rough. Federal unemployment has done wonders for me, thank God, but I need to figure out my future plans at this point, as I’m tired of living paycheck to paycheck in dead-end jobs with no growth. This is my second time being unemployed with no real qualifications other than tons of random work experience and I want to change the direction I tend to feel required to go in for myself now. Many of us know I’ve been thought a lot in the last year with my dad’s sudden death and not having a funeral (again, due to financial restrictions/covid), and I really want/need to change this consistent issue from showing up in my life with an actual career in a stable field.

I want to take a very particular two week course at Los Angeles Career College to get certified as a phlebotomist through one of their programs, but they don’t offer financial aid, and I unfortunately don’t qualify for loans because the amount needed is so low. The course is only $2000 plus $500 for fees and whatnot, and I would really appreciate every single dollar that could be donated to this, as it would quite literally change my life in ways that I would really benefit from! Even one dollar from anyone and everyone would really add up quickly.
