Help Cindy and Dennis Rebuild After Flood Destroys Home
Donation protected
One minute Cindy and Dennis Riley were waking up in their newly purchased home in Swannanoa, and the next they were fleeing as the floodwaters rose quickly, destroying everything they owned except the clothing on their backs.
Cindy is the Director of Programs at the Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry, where she and Dennis have been volunteering and living since the catastrophic devastation caused by Hurricane Helene.
After losing everything, they jumped into saving neighbors from their homes and serving their community. They gathered water and food, and distributed to those around them, connected those in need to medical services and shelter, and prioritized the needs of the whole town.
We have started this GoFundMe for them to help them start rebuilding their lives. Like many in this town, they are in need of the bare essentials: shoes, toiletries, clothing, to just name a few. The money donated to this GoFundMe will go directly to buying these basic needs for them.
They are such a giving couple who have worked tirelessly to take care of their friends and neighbors during this awful disaster. Now it is time to take care of them and provide them with support so they can continue to support others. Anything helps and is truly appreciated.
