Help Cindy and Gary Knott Cover Medical Expenses

Donation protected
Cindy was recently diagnosed with Gastrointestinal Stage IV cancer.

On December 20, 2023 Cindy felt some discomfort in her abdomen and felt that maybe her gallbladder was acting up. An ultrasound showed multiple lesions on her liver. A week later, between Christmas
and New Year’s, a CT confirmed the lesions and she was scheduled for a liver biopsy on January 3, 2024.
Cindy met with an oncologist on January 5th and was informed the cancer had spread to her liver from another organ, but it is unknown which organ it originated. A PET scan followed and showed the cancer has not only spread to her liver, but also to her lymph nodes in her abdomen. Even with the PET scan, it is unknown where the cancer has originated, other than from somewhere in the Gastrointestinal area.
This unexpected and life changing diagnosis is truly devastating to Cindy, her family and friends. Her oncologist has set up a treatment plan of chemotherapy and possibly Immunotherapy. Cindy was told
she will need chemotherapy treatments for the rest of her life.
Cindy is 52 years old. She is a loving wife (32 years in May 2024) to her husband Gary, and a proud mother to her two children, Chelsea (age 28) and Michael (age 23). Michael became engaged to be married (Abbey) in July 2023 and is planning on a September 2024 beach wedding in the Myrtle Beach
area. Chelsea became engaged to be married (Trevor) in late December 2023 with a wedding date still pending.
Among Cindy’s favorite things are spending time with her family and friends, country music/attending concerts, and vacationing on a beach. Her wishes include seeing her kids get married and become parents, meeting her future grandchildren, spending quality time with her family and friends, and spending as much time as possible with her husband. We are hopeful that her treatments can provide
her more time to accomplish these wishes.

If you have ever met her, Cindy is one of the most caring, kindhearted people you may know. She always goes above and beyond for her family and friends. In most cases, putting them as a priority before herself. Now we need to do the same for her. Any donations will be a blessing and greatly appreciated. Donations will go towards medical expenses that insurance does not cover, the costs of an
ongoing treatment, and other day-to-day costs due to Cindy not being able to work at this time. Thank you for your love and support.
