Help Cindy and Joseph Rebuild

I am writing on the behalf of Cindy and Joseph Reid as a friend of the family.

 

On Thursday afternoon, December 30th, Colorado's most devastating fire (the Marshall Fire) tore through Boulder County, with Louisville at the heart of the destruction. Cindy and Joseph Reid were lucky to be evacuated just in time with their two cats Jasper and Shelby in tow early yesterday afternoon. However, as the winds gusted and the fire grew last night, their home and all of their belongings were completely destroyed by the fire. Words cannot express the devastation and heartbreak that they are dealing with.

 

Cindy and Joseph relocated to Louisville, CO from Atlanta, GA, in order to act as caregivers for their daughter, Joanna, who lives with multiple life threatening medical conditions and has had over 100 surgeries in the last 20 years. They drive Jo to/from the hospital at least three times a week for her infusions. They are constantly giving to others, and often put themselves last in order to make sure that Joanna, and her husband, Tal, have what they need to handle the obstacles thrown at them.

 

This is an incredibly difficult time with a long road ahead and we know that, more than ever, we'll need the support from our community. Anything you can contribute to help Cindy and Joseph rebuild during this horrific time would be massively helpful and so appreciated. All funds will be used for necessities and rebuilding their lives.
