Help The Kingsbury family

Donation protected
Hi everyone. I am fundraising for a great friend of ours whose  parents are in a tough spot right now and need a hand up. Below is the story from our friend Nate:

I never thought this day would come when I would be asking people for help. I have helped my parents so much financially, but I can’t even touch the situation they are facing now.

With a stack of medical bills that my mom has from the hospital, the rehab facility and more coming daily, I have no other choice at this point, but to ask for help from the many people that know my parents and have been a part of their ministry through the years. The repairs that need to be done at my dad’s house (ceiling, kitchen, front porch, water underneath the trailer and bathroom ceiling) all need attention, though my dad works hard to keep it looking nice. They have nothing set up to pay for their funerals, other than a small life insurance policy, that won’t pay for much. Financially my parents struggle, and are on a fixed income, and manage with the little they have. The bills have overtaken any way to ever get ahead or be caught up at this point.

You all know my mom’s condition, that she has been in and out of the hospital and rehab for almost a year now. She got diabetes when she was 7 and now at 65 every part of her body has been effected, including heart failure. This past week my mom almost died again, and now she is in a long term care facility because her condition continues to fail, and there not much more we can do. We are heart broken that she is there and knowing that her deepest desire is to be home.

Recently my dad found out that hospice might be coming in soon because her health has taken a turn for the worse. They told him they can’t do anything else to truly help her. On the same day of this happening with my mom, my dad got a call from a scammer that took advantage of him in his weakest moment and cleared out his bank account.

My dad is at loss to even know what to do at this point, and so am l. I will continue to help my parents, but at this point it’s too much. I am humbling myself and realize I can’t do this on my own. The picture I chose was of the last time we were at my parents house together, before my mom got extremely sick. My parents need your help, please consider coming alongside them in their time of need.
