Help Cindy raise money for an attorney

Hello, my name is Emily and I am looking to help my mother, Cindy raise money for an attorney. Starting in 2020 there has been a 50+ year old man in her neighborhood who became inappropriately obsessed with my best friend’s three year old son. He wrote letters to me and to my best friend that ranged from 10-70 pages in length confessing his love for the little boy. After many times of him showing up at my daughters bus stop and several other instances of him blocking my car in I told him if he did not leave me alone I would contact police. This past summer, he contacted police to try to get information about what qualifies as stalking and the police contacted me with concern. Since then they have suggested that it would be in our best interest to obtain a restraining order, and that is what my mother is pursuing. This man however has a high paying job and hired an attorney of his own to fight the restraining order in court. My mother does not have a lot of money to put towards an attorney, but is terrified that if she doesn’t obtain one she may not win this case. This man has shown up at her work and has been seen on many occasions walking around her building. I sincerely fear for her safety and the safety of my daughter and myself. He had been writing long emails to another neighbor through the duration of the summer speaking of how “god” is telling him he has to keep pursuing this little boy, and how me and my mother are standing in the way of god’s path. He has also expressed having emotions/interests in other children and I want to make sure this man is exposed for the monster that he is. Any help is sincerely appreciated. Thank you.
