Help City Elementary Aid Asheville's Recovery

Hello from the middle school classroom of City Elementary in Chicago, Illinois!
When we heard about the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in Asheville, North Carolina, we wanted to help.
Our class works hard to find positive and meaningful ways to engage with our community and the broader communities around us. When it came to figuring out how we could be of service to those in need in Asheville, we thought how can we be helpful when we are so far away?
We realized that we could tap into our powerful network of friends, family, and community members to raise both awareness and donations that we could then share with an organization on the ground in Asheville.
Beloved Asheville is a non-profit organization that focuses on community housing, health, equity, and opportunity in Asheville, NC. Currently they are making a targeted effort to support those most affected by the flooding and aftermath of the hurricane.
