Help City Greens Replace Our Freezer!
Tax deductible
UPDATE: We have a new freezer!! Along with your generous donations, we received a grant that got us the rest of the way there! Thank you all so much for you support. We really wouldn't be here without you!
-The City Greens Team
City Greens is raising $10,000 to replace one of our commercial coolers, and we need your help!
This freezer has served us well since 2014 when a group of neighborhood women, the Midtown Mamas, raised the money and community support to move out of the church basement where they started City Greens and into the brick-and-mortar we occupy today.
During the past 10 years, City Greens has grown and changed, but we’re still a scrappy nonprofit dedicated to making fresh, local food more accessible to our neighbors. We still rely on the generosity of our supporters to help us when a big, unexpected expense comes up.
If you are able, we would appreciate it so much if you could pitch in $10, $20, $50 (or more!) toward the $10,000 cost of replacing our faithful freezer.
We are a nonprofit in St. Louis, dedicated to providing access to fresh, quality, and affordable produce to all of our neighbors. We work with local farmers as much as possible, and we sell that food at cost to our members, who pay for membership based on what they can afford.
Thank you, as always for your support!
