Help Clark live a life with only one leg!
Donation protected
Clark was injured when an under insured motorist crossed over the median and ran into Clark on his motorcycle, crushing his pelvis and leg. After a “flight-for-life” helicopter ride to the hospital his left leg was amputated and resulted in extensive time in the hospital. Clark is trying to rebuild his life while dealing with phantom pain and the complexities of living with one leg. Clark is hoping to continue his career in IT (if he can work from home), but until he can get relief from the phantom pain from his missing leg, he is unable to concentrate for longer periods of time.
In addition to mounting medical bills, Clark needs several modifications to his house that will allow him to live with less hassle in his daily routine. These modifications include:
1. A new sink, modifications to the bathroom door to allow wheelchair access, and the addition of grab bars in tub/shower.
2, An over/under washer dryer on the first floor including the necessary plumbing and electrical work to install the washer/dryer.
3. Modifications to the kitchen including lowering the sink for handicap access and installing slide out shelves in four lower kitchen cabinets.
4. Building a handicap ramp at the front door so he can enter and exit the house in his wheelchair.
A $26,000 goal has been set for modifications to his home with an open goal for the continuing medical expenses. Please help fund Clark!
