Help Claudia and Maria rebuild their home!

On January 16th, 2022, an EF2 tornado hit Southwest Florida and was a direct hit to my dear friend Claudia's manufactured home. Her home is livable, thank god. However, there is extensive roof and property damage. To make things worse, the age and construction of the mobile home prevented it from being insured, so she and her mother are left to pay the expenses of the repairs out of pocket. The repairs are estimated to be so far $25,000.

 

Claudia has a heart of gold is generous with others and light to those around her, including her 80-year-old mother, whom she lives with and supports. Claudia has been a friend to many doing yoga for years at Happahatchee and working for Lee Health. Claudia is overwhelmed with where to begin, but I know we as a community can step in and help support her.

Also, If anyone has resources or contractors' information who are willing to work on the carport, roof or fencing, any info would be helpful!
