Help Clay Decker With Medical Expenses and Bills

As many of you may have heard, Clay Decker recently has been going through some health issues that has made him unable to work or afford medical bills.

At the beginning of the year, Clay suffered two small strokes in his sleep. The strokes caused inflammation to the optical nerves in both eyes. The pressure from the back of the eye to the brain has severely impaired his vision. He describes his vision as a "blue haze through three layers of blue pantyhose". He can walk, and do the most basic navigation around his surroundings. He can write based on memory of the letters and make out peoples shapes and tell who it is by familiar mannerisms. He cannot text or read his phone screen, he cannot make out details of peoples faces. If he draws a line on a piece of paper, it looks like nothing.

After his vision began declining, Clay sought help from doctors. They ran tests, did an MRI, and were unable to find answers. Since then Clay has relocated to Spokane with family. After much research on different treatments and past cases, Clay is committed to finding a Doctor and treatment plan in Washington and getting his vision back.

Clay wouldn't want us to say this but this is important to us. Clay has been tattooing for over 30 years professionally and has contributed greatly to the craft. He is an innovative machine builder, with many of us making our careers with the machines he built. An anchor in traditional American and Japanese Tattooing, bringing traditional Japanese tattooing to the states in a time access wasn't "Google easy". He has educated and touched the lives of thousands of tattooers worldwide. Clay has given his life force to tattooing and now he needs all of our help.

The money that we are able to raise for him will go directly to him and help him not only to get the treatment he needs, but also to cover the cost of living while he is not able to work. In Clay's words "to exist while he tackles this juggernaut".
