Help Clay fight a Rare Brain Cancer
Donation protected
Clay Vaughan, 19, is a brother of Chi Psi Fraternity at the University of Georgia. He is a passionate, driven young man who loves spending time with his fraternity brothers, playing pool, and finding his next entrepreneurial idea. On December 24th, 2024, Clay was admitted to the emergency room battling strong migraines. This precautionary visit sadly flipped his and his family's world upside down when doctors came back with results of a tumor within his brain. After about a month of tests, different doctors, and lots of waiting, it was determined that Clay is battling a pediatric brain cancer due to a pineal gland germinoma tumor. This is an incredibly rare form of cancer that only occurs in ages 10 to 21 with only about 100 cases a year in the United States.
This time has taken an incredible toll on his family's emotional state along with their financial viability. Throughout February, March, and April, Clay will be undergoing multiple Chemotherapy treatments along with a period of radiation. This requires that his mother constantly drive and watch over him to make sure all progress remains consistent.
The Brothers of Alpha Alpha Delta of Chi Psi have come together and decided to collectively help them in this scary time of need. We are asking anybody to help the family through treatment with donations. Whether it's $5 or $500, we thank you all and look forward to the time when Clay can come back to Athens to get things back to normal.
