Help Clint Stay in touch with his Family & Friends

Clint Ponsford works at the Table Mesa King Soopers in Boulder, Colorado. You may have seen him in the graphic footage of the horrible mass shooting that took place on March 22, 2021. Clint was standing in the entrace to the store,  and you could hear gunshots ringing out. Ten innocent people lost their lives in this act of senseless violence, including his girlfriend and coworker Teri. 

Clint has had a difficult time the past 2 years. He lost his wife Carolyn of 35 years suddenly in June in 2019.  In the time since, he was able to get his life back together with Teri - only to have it cruelly ended just six months after they moved in together.

To say they were excited about their future was an understatement. They were so looking forward to getting full vaccinated and see us all get beyond the COVID-19 pandemic so they could resume doing the things they both loved to do together. Then to have this happen, a day after the start of spring - is just truly devastating.

Clint is and always has been on a tight budget. When Carolyn passed he went down to a single income. The main goal of this fundraiser is for Clint to get a new iPad so he can FaceTime with his friends and family, and a newer laptop so he can work on his learning-to-read software and play the computer games he likes.

Please help if you can, even if it just a couple of dollars. These items for Clint are modest in cost in the big picture, but will really make a positive impact in the path of his now forever altered life. More important is the understanding  to Clint that people really do care and will stand with him - friends, family and strangers - and will go out of their way to take the time to donate to help him stay in touch with loved ones and friends.
