Help CNS build a geodome and disabled toilets

Crops Not Shops is on a mission to feed the people, create a 'free and fair food' sharing network, provide a New Earth education programme for our young people around nature-based learning, and rebuild a forgotten earth of love and sharing.
We need community and each other to progress into a new, self-instigated way of conscious and connected living.

It's time for change on earth; it’s time for love and community and Crops Not Shops is in “full power” to support community and build regenerative futures for the earth and for the children.

Everything we do is centred around collaboration, we all work as land volunteers and love being in community.
We have so many connections to land and partnerships with land owners to create a better world of love and sharing and caring for each other. FEED THE PEOPLE. Educate the children, Empower the future.

The New Earth mother hub in Glastonbury is the perfect land for creating the blueprint of collaborative community living and growing with Mother Nature.

We've built a market garden, created camping infrastructure, given away countless veg boxes and made thousands of meals from the land produce. Many visitors and volunteers have joined us to co-create and share in the bounty that such living offers.

We're ready to launch into our second year here on site, and there's lots of progressive stuff we've got planned and we need financial help to get us there. We aim to be totally self-sufficient by the end of 2023 - supporting local families, communities, schools, homeless folk and vulnerable and truth-inspired people.

Our goals for this phase are to acquire/build:

Education facilities in the form of a 14-metre temperate geo-dome with a broad variety of more exotic plant species and better opportunities for leading learning sessions for everyone.
Build a fully accessible disabled toilet
Build a second poly-tunnel to allow us to grow more extensively
Seeds for next year's sowing
20 tonnes of organic compost
Tools & Equipment

The Geo-Dome
The dome will be the centrepiece of the entire permaculture design. We want to build it from wood and renewable resources where possible, and inside, we will grow much more exotic produce, like lemons, avocados and other produce we'd normally import from far away.

This will help us to deliver home education and permaculture teachings and provide a stunning venue for such activities and provide a great example of what can be achieved in this climate. The cost of the dome is ~£8000.

The Disabled toilet
It’s vital for Crops Not Shops to include every member of society to this project, disabled and vulnerable people are duly considered. We want to make the visit to the Glastonbury site as easy and accessible as possible. A disabled toilet and washroom is high on our priority list. The cost of this is ~£1500

The Second poly-tunnel
We have one large poly-tunnel that extends our growing season but we need a second one for propagation and for a veg, herbs and fruit nursery
The size is 16 metres x 5 metres and costs ~£3000

Seeds for the future.
We need to re-stock our seed bank and believe in saving seeds so we buy our seeds from heritage seed companies to do so.
We would like to get £500-£700 worth of seed.

20 tonnes of organic mushroom compost.
We source our organic mushroom compost from woodland horticulture, which is 1 mile away.
We use NO-DIG methods so we need this to support these growing modalities.
Cost ~£560

Tools and Equipment
We need so many tools, children's equipment, and general day-to-day stuff.
~£1000

We try to source reused and second-hand where we can and always make the most of what we have.
We really need help to carry forward this mission.
With all the love and all the power, thank you, and god bless.

WE BORROW IT FROM OUR CHILDREN
