For more than 20 years, Coach Chris Talamaivao has been a prominent figure in the youth football community. His dedication through his company Giant Skillz Athletics has impacted the lives of countless players, helping them to achieve their full potential and pursue their dreams. His commitment has taken him around the globe, leading many of his players to secure scholarships at D1 schools and even reaching the NFL. Penei Sewell of the Detroit Lions stands as a testament to his exceptional coaching.

In December 2023, he received the life altering diagnosis of Stage 4 T-Cell Lymphoma. Throughout this challenging period, Chris has maintained an unwaveringly positive outlook and continues to approach the situation with determination and a smile, embodying the spirit of a true warrior, alongside his Love Edris and her unwavering strength.

In his fight against cancer, Chris has already undergone 10 sessions of radiation and endured 6 rounds of chemotherapy. Naturally, these treatments have prevented him from giving his all to what he loves the most and that is working with his athletes.
