Help Coach Patrick After Eaton Fire Devastates His Home
Donation protected
Hey Skaters,
Some of you may know or have skated with one of Pacific Skate School's long time and beloved Coach's, Patrick.
The last few years he has been living with and caretaking for his Grand Mother, who is in her 90s. They lived right across from the Trailhead of Eaton Canyon in Pasadena, CA.
On Jan. 7, 2025 during the record high winds, I spoke to him at 7:30pm about skate schedules as he was getting home from the market to prepare dinner. By 10pm he texted me that their house had burnt down.
It happened so quickly all he was only able to grab a backpack with some clothes, his dog, and his skateboard. They made it out safely but have lost everything.
It's unknown what the days, weeks and months will be for them and currently he is displaced and painfully waiting to be able to see if he can even sift through any remains of their family's possessions.
Please if you can show any support right now to him in his time of need while we all wait and see what the future holds. These funds will alleviate the expenses of displacement and allow him to get immediate necessities like food, clothing and housing.
Thank you, my thoughts are with them, and all of those effected by the Los Angeles Fires.
