Hi, my name is Coco, and I’m an 8th grader at the Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork. For my year-long independent service project, I chose to study brain mapping and neurofeedback—not just because it’s fascinating, but because it has changed my life.

I was born at 23 weeks, weighing just 1 pound, and growing up, I faced challenges that made me wonder how my brain worked. Thanks to an incredible psychologist and brain mapping, I was able to better understand my strengths and challenges. This knowledge helped me learn strategies to improve focus, memory, and overall brain health.

Unfortunately, many people who could benefit from brain mapping can’t afford it—and I want to change that.

My goal is to raise enough money to sponsor at least one brain mapping session for someone in need, so they can receive the same insights and support that helped me. It costs $950 for one brain map.
