Help Cody And His Family With Expenses

Hi everyone, this is Cody’s step-daughter, Sabrina.

From 9/18-9/22, Cody, his wife, brother, and friends had planned a little trip to an Airbnb. They enjoyed each other's company and laughter but had no idea what was to come from this getaway. On September 23rd, Cody started having fevers and not feeling himself. He went to Urgent Care, who said it seemed like he may have pneumonia, which led him to the emergency room in Coaldale. Coaldale sent him home, saying everything seemed to be fine with him. On Thursday, September 26th, Cody was feeling even worse, his fever skyrocketing up to 105, shortness of breath, and even becoming delirious, which landed him in the ER over in Lehighton. Once realizing how serious this was, they placed him in the ICU and then had to medevac Cody down to Cedar Crest in Allentown to be placed in their ICU. Cody has been sedated since and placed on a ventilator. Things have since started to go downhill, and Cody had to start dialysis. His lungs have become very sick as well. With getting acute respiratory distress syndrome from this, he was diagnosed with Legionnaires' disease. This disease comes from contaminated water, that water possibly being from the hot tub Cody, his wife, brother, and friends hung out in while on vacation at the Airbnb.

The doctors and nurses at Cedar Crest are doing everything they can to help Cody fight this. Please continue to send all of your prayers to Cody and his family.

We are asking if anybody can donate to help with the transportation back and forth, and bills due to Cody and his wife being out of work. Cody has a very long road ahead of him, still not knowing what to expect or the outcome of all of this. Your continued prayers mean the world. Thank you so much.
