Help Colin get thorough medical care

On behalf of the Monaghan family.
Back in 1980, Maria had just had Katie and Colin was just about to start a new career. This is where a long family friendship began between the Monaghan's and Doherty's. Colin was training at MonyHall Hospital on the outskirts of Birmingham to be a nurse. My mom recalls the day she first met Colin thinking that he was a doctor as he wore a long white coat with a great big smile. My mom asked him for directions to ward 5. Colin knew where ward 11, ward 13 and ward 6 were but not ward 5. It was his first day too and they both discovered they were in the same intake group starting together. Over the years they became good friends and have stayed friends ever since. Collins dream has always been to move to America to be a nurse.
Colin liked to move. Moving from Addison Road in Kings heath to Oxford Road, Acocks Green and then on to Arizona in America.
Perfect hosts Colin and the family have welcomed us over many times over to America to the Grand Canyon in Arizona to Emerald Isle in North Carolina. I think everyone will remember new years eve together at the Irish Centre in Digbeth singing auld lang syne and Willy McCbride after many pints of Guinness. Colin always brings friends together and he is always very inclusive and much loved.
Over recent months Colin's health has begun to deteriorate and needs our help to get him better care. The reason why I have put this page together is to help our friend and to reach out for support to help the family. Colin dedicated his career to helping other people but is unable to get the right help at the time when he needs it most.
The Monaghan family urgently need funds to support his medical care whether that's the ability to come back to England to get help or to get it privately in America so please pledge what you can to help today.
Katie, Claire, Fintan, Joseph, Casey, and kelly, we hope your dad gets better soon.
