Help Colleen McGowan Cote's Road to Recovery

On May 8th, 2022, Colleen Cote was on her way home from her Mother’s Day shift at Country View Restaurant when she had a seizure, resulting in a collision with a tree and complete destruction of her vehicle. She suffered severe injuries and will have a long road to recovery.

Having known Colleen for 11 years, I have never met someone more dedicated, personable and fully devoted to making sure each individual she comes across is lit up with her warmth and care. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing Colleen’s smiling face at Country View Restaurant, accompanied by her trademark Mountain Dew, you have experienced the joy she brings to others around her. She provides impeccable service when serving and always gives her friends and customers exceptional attention, and imparts a part of herself for all to relish. She aims to please those she encounters, whether it's a listening ear, a quick song and dance or a hilarious comedy routine. At her core, Colleen is a caretaker, evident not only by her experiences at Country View but also by how she takes care of her parents, especially her Mom.

The funds we hope to raise on behalf of Colleen will go towards enormous medical bills. Colleen is currently in the hospital. While she has some immediate obstacles with her health, she will hopefully move soon to a rehabilitation hospital where she will continue the long healing process. Colleen has lost her primary source of income that she and her mother relied on for their living expenses and will have major medical expenses now and well into the future.
