Please help Colleen and Ella through surgery

Colleen is having spine surgery this month to alleviate debilitating pain and neuropathy. While she is hopeful this surgery will enable her to lead a pain free life, she needs help managing her bills and expenses while she focuses on healing.
This past year has been difficult for everyone, and on top of this Colleen has been dealing with multiple issues exacerbated by this pandemic. A veteran flight attendant and single mother, she had to take a furlough at the beginning of the pandemic in order to support her beloved daughter as they navigated the new reality of life during Coronavirus.
Colleen is now unemployed and her bills are rapidly mounting. She has done her best to navigate this uncertain time and provide stability to her middle school aged child. she instituted austerity measures at home to stretch every dollar. a proud person, colleen has tried to avoid asking for help and took out loans when her unemployment wasn't enough to survive on. She was able to keep up with her rent until February 2021.
Adding to the stressors of the past year, Colleen's health condition has deteriorated rapidly, causing excruciating muscle spams that shoot down her legs leaving her unable to walk. The pain and spasms have gotten to the point of interfering with daily activities. Losing her job, through no actions of her own doing, has forced her to navigate the byzantine world of expensive private health insurance coverage. Need we say more. She's finally found a private health plan that has allowed her to seek the treatment she needs to correct her spinal issues.
Tomorrow, March 4, 2021, Colleen has her surgery and is depending on friends and family to help her through this ordeal. She will be restricted from lifting anything heavier than 10 pounds for approximately 6 weeks. Recovery will include follow up doctor appointments and physical therapy. She may need to hire someone to help at home as she will be unable to do normal every day tasks like laundry, groceries, clean her home, walk her dog, take care of her daughter and care for her other pets. Her daughter will of course take on additional chores, she still has her school schedule to maintain. Any funds collected here will contribute to the costs of her medical care, personal support, cost of living and other vital bills. Your contribution will allow Colleen peace of mind in being able to meet her financial obligations as well as take care of herself and her daughter.
Please take a moment and see if you can spare anything to help her out. There is so much going on in the world right now that the hardships that many people face day to day can often be overlooked. Colleen has never asked for help before and this is her last hope.
Thank you, and God bless.
