Help Colonial Forge Get To DECA Nationals
Donation protected
When it comes to my students, I treat them as my own. There’s very little I wouldn’t do to see them happy.
I am the advisor for DECA at Colonial Forge High School in Stafford, VA and from March 4th- March 6th, I had the privilege of accompanying 7 students at the State Leadership Conference for DECA. It was such an honor to witness how hard they worked and how well their efforts paid off.
Out of 7 students, 6 received medals and 5 advanced to the National Competition. 2 of these students are Seniors so it’s the last year they are eligible to compete.
This years International Career & Development Conference is being held in Atlanta, GA & the cost is significantly higher than the state level competition. Not only do they have to pay for the conference registration fee of $125- there’s lodging, travel and of course meals while away from home. Some of the students can afford part of the trip but everyone deserves to go.
In a year that’s been so uncertain for Education, we certainly should celebrate all the positive things happening and the students who are already leaving a positive impression on their journeys.
Please consider helping if you’re able to. No donation is too small.
