Help Colt Recover from His Accident ❤️‍

this whole process is so heartbreaking and my heart aches as i type this, however i come to you all with sad news. my editor, who is also one of my closest friends, her dog was hit by a car.

she rescued little colt from the shelter not that long ago, she spent months visiting him at the shelter and taking him on adventures to ensure that this dog loved her the way she loved him, and he did! she brought him home and has been spoiling him, earning his trust, training him, and bonding with him. unfortunately, in a freak accident he got loose and in fear ran near a rode where a stray car hit him with carelessness, not even stopping to ensure he was okay. the scream that left my editors mouth broke my heart, every update i heard from her came with a wavering voice. she’s absolutely heartbroken. she rushed him to the vet and sat there with him for 9 hours while they treated him. thank god, he’s okay. for a hefty bill. its so important for him to get the care he needs, any little bit is so helpful if you can spare it! we’ve gotten past the scariest part but it’s still an uphill battle from here and colt needs all the love he can get!
