Help Complete a Community Mosque in Uganda

Assalamu Alaikum,

We are reaching out with a humble appeal to support our brothers and sisters in a Busano community-Uganda who need our help to complete their mosque. Since 2019, the construction of their mosque has stalled due to a lack of funds, leaving them with a makeshift structure covered with tarpaulins that have now worn out. Despite their best efforts, the community could not afford to build a large mosque, and even the smaller structure they began remains unfinished.

The Mosque Project Needs:

To provide a safe and proper place of worship, we need to:

• Proper Roofing the mosque

• Install windows and doors

• Smooth the floor

• Install a simple plywood ceiling

• Finish the walls and paint them

Why This Matters:

Building a mosque is not just about constructing a building; it’s about creating a space for spiritual growth, community gatherings, and education. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.” (Sahih al-Bukhari)

The Quran also emphasizes the reward for those who help build mosques: "The mosques of Allah shall be visited and maintained by such as believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish regular prayers, and practice regular charity" (Quran 9:18).

We humbly ask for your support to raise $2,085 to cover these expenses and ensure this mosque becomes a place of peace and community for our Ugandan brothers and sisters.
