Help Complete Ray & Chrysty Sturdivant's Ministry Home

Dear Friends of Ray & Chrysty Sturdivant & Mining the Truth,

My name is Jim Brandon, and I am writing to you with a request for our friends, the Sturdivant's, regarding their recent construction of home and ministry center. It is located on acreage North of Dallas that they purchased 20 years ago.

Like many of you, the Sturdivant's have been very impactful in my family’s lives. They have prayed for, advised, and ministered to over 30 of my family and friends and have never asked us for any money. This has been the policy of their ministry since its founding.

It has recently come to my attention that while building their ministry home, their builder misappropriated over $200,000 causing them great difficulty in completing this project.

The Sturdivant's have put over $400,000 of their own funds into the house/ministry center using proceeds from the sale of their home of 35 years. They also have a loan for $180,000 that the bank has on hold until the next of phase of construction is complete. That phase was paid for but never completed due to their builder's malfeasance. On top of that, the builder grossly underestimated the amount needed to complete the project.

My family has been actively involved in supporting this ministry home from the beginning because we believe it will be used for home, gatherings, offices, multi-day intensive prayer sessions, as well as a chapel area where inner healing/deliverance & prophetic training will occur. For that reason, when we were informed of this situation we asked the Sturdivant's if they would allow us to make a request on their behalf for financial assistance.

They agreed, and we have set up this GoFundMe account, and we have seeded it with the first donation and will be forwarding this request to those we know who have benefited from this ministry.

Remaining consistent with their donation policy, the Sturdivant's were uncomfortable with our desire to utilize their email list. Therefore, we are asking you to forward this to anyone you know who has benefited from their ministry or who may be interested in supporting it.

Our goal is to raise the $200,000 that was misappropriated and left them short for the completion of this center.
