Help Connie Doughan Fight Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ryan Doughan and I am fundraising for my mom, Connie.
If you've ever met my mom, you know what an incredibly caring, selfless, and upbeat person she is. She’s always willing to serve. Always willing to help. And never asks for anything in return. Well, today, I’m here asking in her stead.
On October 27th, Connie was rushed to the ER after falling in the shower and becoming partially nonresponsive. At this time, two brain tumors were found during an MRI scan. Mom was transferred by ambulance to a larger hospital where they eventually did a biopsy of the tumors and found them to be Large B-Cell Lymphoma. This is an aggressive cancer and rare to have primarily in the brain.
We are now a couple of months in, and Mom is in the midst of Chemo treatment at the Mayo Clinic. We are tremendously grateful to have the care and expertise Mayo offers, but with any long-term treatment plan expenses add up quickly. Would you help us be a blessing to my mom, Connie, and my Dad, Larry, as he travels back and forth with her to treatment? All funds raised will go to help pay for medical treatment, travel expenses, hotel stays, living expenses, etc…
Please consider donating, and share this with others to help spread the word. As my mom said, “I’m not scared to die, but I’m not ready to leave either.” With 14 Grandkids to watch grow, we would all love to have her around for a long, long time as well.
