Help Connie Keep Halloween Magic Alive

For 23 years, 'Connie's House of Horrors' has been the highlight of Halloween for hundreds of children and parents in our community. I'm Connie Canitano, and I need your help to keep this beloved tradition alive.
'Connie's House of Horrors' is a haunted graveyard filled with animatronics, live scare actors, flame throwers, and Halloween decorations my husband and I have built ourselves. Every person who walks through the graveyard gets a large trick-or-treat bag filled with Halloween candy and mini-Halloween toys. This labor of love has become a cherished community event, bringing joy and excitement to families year after year.
For over two decades, I've poured my heart, soul, and personal finances into this project. However, with rising costs and unexpected challenges, I'm turning to our community for support. Each year, I spend thousands to ensure everything runs smoothly and is fun, scary, and worth it. And this year is like no other, with inflation hitting us hard!
This year, we face an additional challenge. My 83-year-young mother, who lovingly creates all 400 treat bags, recently fractured her wrist. As her only child and caregiver, I've had to dedicate more time and resources to her recovery, straining our already tight budget. My mom is my world, and this setback has really thrown a wrench into our plans.
Please help me keep the tradition going by donating. I'm setting my goal at $4,000, which will give me enough to cover all the setup costs and candy/toy bags. Your donation, no matter how small, will help preserve a cherished Halloween tradition that brings our community together. Every contribution goes directly towards creating magical memories for children and families.
I appreciate any amount you can give; even a few dollars matter. Please share this fundraiser on social media and with your friends and family. Together, we can ensure that the neighborhood kids enjoy another fun and safe Halloween!
With your support, we can ensure that 'Connie's House of Horrors' continues to be a beacon of Halloween spirit, community togetherness, and childhood wonder for years to come.
Thank you for helping us keep the magic alive!
