Help Connor get an adjustable bed!

So, as many of you know Connor has been ill for quite some time now. For those of you who don’t Connor became severely ill in January of 2023. Connor was working 30 hours a week, going to school full time, working out 3-5 times a week and maintaining a busy social life when suddenly illness struck. What started out as what was thought to be a virus turned into a death spiral. One day Connor woke up viciously nauseous, dizzy, sensitive to lights and sounds, extremely weak and had soul crushing fatigue. We searched for answers for months. Connor spent a total of 2 months of 2023 hospitalized all together. Doctors kept coming up empty handed even though symptoms continued to worsen. Connor lost 65 lbs in the matter of months. By June he was unable to speak, eat or walk on his own. He was down to eating only about 1500 calories a week because his body would not allow him to eat or keep down foods. This was where his longest hospitalization occurred. After continuing the search we discovered Connor has a disease called M.E. or myalgic encephalomyelitis. By CDC definition, “ Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) is a serious, long-term illness that affects many body systems. People with ME/CFS are often not able to do their usual activities. At times, ME/CFS may confine them to bed. People with ME/CFS have severe fatigue and sleep problems. ME/CFS may get worse after people with the illness try to do as much as they want or need to do. This symptom is called post-exertional malaise (PEM). Other symptoms can include problems with thinking and concentrating, pain, and dizziness.” Seventy five percent of people with M.E. are considered either as mild or moderate and can maintain a somewhat normal life and work or be mostly home bound. While the other twenty five percent are considered severe and are bedridden and at the worst must be tube fed. Connor sadly is apart of that twenty five percent. He spends all of his time in bed unable to take more than a few steps to the bathroom attached to his room. That being said we are raising money to try and get Connor a comfy adjustable bed in hopes to help him sit up to eat and make his life a bit easier and also help with some carers cost. His wonderful girlfriend provides most care for him all while she works and goes to school full time. Any support is appreciated whether it be prayers, good vibes or words of kindness. Thank you
