Paul and Silas: I Am My Brother's Keeper

Mission Statement

To aid in eliminating lack in Sumter County, South Carolina, by focusing on food deserts during the Thanksgiving holiday season,

The twins Paul and the late Silas Grant were born and raised in Sumter County. As the daughter of Silas, I have heard the great stories and witnessed the compassion and generosity of my father and his twin brother in helping others in need. 

This non-profit charity was created to continue their legacy of unconditional love for others in their childhood community.

In the past 2 years, I have raised more than $3,000.00 and have touched dozens of families in need of a hearty Thanksgiving dinner.

In partnership with Piggly Wiggly of Sumter (Broad Street), my desire is to give a good meal, which provides hope and a renewed confidence in humanity.

Join me for a third year in providing dinners, which consist of turkeys and all of the trimmings for an entire family.
