Help Cooper and John's fundraiser in Iceland!
Donation protected
Welcome to the official donations page for Ring of Resilience. We’re Cooper Cummings and John Perkins, two friends on a mission to make a difference as we bike around Iceland’s stunning 850-mile ring road. From May 9 to 25, we’ll tackle this journey to raise funds and awareness for two causes close to our hearts.
Our total goal is $50,000, which will cover our initial expenses required to get there, and the rest going directly to American Cancer Society for breast cancer research, and JED for suicide prevention for teens and young adults. Once the campaign ends, we will transfer the nonprofit portion directly to the organizations and they will issue receipts to donors.
John’s Mission: Men’s Mental Health Awareness
John is riding to shine a light on men’s mental health. Every mile he pedals is dedicated to breaking the stigma and fostering support for those facing mental health challenges. His goal is to raise funds for organizations working to provide men with the resources and community they need to lead healthier, happier lives.
Cooper’s Mission: Breast Cancer Research
Cooper is biking for breast cancer research, inspired by the resilience of those impacted by breast cancer. With each push of the pedal, he’s committed to supporting vital research that brings us closer to a cure and improves the lives of individuals and families affected by this disease.
Our initial goal of $10,000 is to give us the opportunity to get to Iceland. The goal of $10,000 will go towards covering travel costs, bikes, and other equipment we may need. Once this $10,000 goal is reached, all additional funds raised will be directed toward organizations dedicated to advancing men’s mental health and breast cancer research, ensuring that every dollar contributes to meaningful support, resources, and breakthroughs in these vital areas.
Once we obtain our initial $10,000, Cooper and I hope raise enough funds to donate $25,000 dollars each, to our respected organizations.
