Please help Cooper heal ;Urgent surgery needed

Hello family & friends! This is something that I never thought I would be doing. Unfortunately, due to my recent surgery and being out of work for much longer than anticipated, and Chris being disabled, finances are tight. Cooper, our 8-year-old lab/golden mix, hurt his leg but was also not eating or feeling well all at the same time. We took him to the vet and found that he had a mast cell tumor and most likely a torn ACL. Labs were done, and he also had a low protein level and a parasite in his stool. We treated all these things and were told that we would need surgery urgently to remove the mass and send it off for pathology. While under anesthesia, they were to X-ray the leg to see what was going on.
Cooper went back for a post-surgery follow-up and suture removal. Cooper's results from the mass are great! We have caught it soon enough that it was only level 1, and the vet was able to achieve clear margins! No treatment is needed for this. We need to watch for further lumps and bumps, and they will all need to be checked because he is still considered a risk. We love Cooper dearly, and this drained us financially. This was $3,500.00.
Well, after all the good news we received, we were sadly informed of the not-so-great news. Cooper's ACL is completely torn; he already has arthritis setting in on the outer edge, and he has lost significant mass in his leg. The doctor also said he doesn’t have the best of hips, but this is much more important. Our vet is amazing and completely understands and acknowledges our current situation and knows we would do anything for our pets. We were informed Cooper really needs surgery in order for him to live out the rest of his life in the most comfortable way possible. Unfortunately, we don’t have much time. The vet said we really need to be doing this in less than a month's time; he said, in all honesty, it should have already been done.
With that being said, this is why I am letting our pride go and asking for help with getting our sweet pup the help he needs. We are treating him with joint supplements and pain meds, but this isn’t a very good solution. The surgery he needs is estimated at $7,000.00 on the high end. Plus, he will be in need of injections in the future.
If you are able to help in any way, we truly appreciate it, and we are extremely grateful. We understand times are tough for everybody right now.
