Help Copper Island acquire playground equipment

Copper Island Academy, a recently authorized charter school located in Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula, is looking for a donations to help off set the cost of playground equipment.

We recently agreed to purchased “new to us” playground structures from a school downstate. The cost of the equipment was just under $13,000 and the transportation costs will be $7,000.

These pieces of equipment have lots of life left in them and we are sure that our students will use their imaginations and have hours of play outside on these structures.

Any donation is appreciated. It will help fund the process of careful deconstruction from the current site and packing onto shipping crates for transportation to the U.P.

We appreciate all of the generosity in the community in support of the Coper Island Academy purpose and mission. We strive to provide families in our community within alternative option to the traditional public schools.
