Help Coral With Her Newborn Violet's Heart Surgery

Coral is an exceptional mother and friend who has been dealt a tough hand as of late.

After a long pregnancy over the winter, she was so excited for her second daughter, Violet, to be born. In an ironic testament to just how great of a mom Coral is, Violet was scheduled to be due right around Mother's Day. But she couldn’t wait another day...

Violet Rae was born on May 3rd, 2021, at 5:54 am via c-section, 8lbs 6oz and 19.5 inches of pure sweetness.
She was born perfectly fine as far as Coral and her family could tell. Coral brought the new baby home for a day, but it wasn't long before she could tell something was wrong.

Violet was breathing too fast. Trying not to panic, Coral rushed her to the ER that morning at 4am. Her breath rate was over 90 a minute when it’s supposed to be under 69. They took her right away and tried to figure out what was going on. She couldn’t hold her temperature or anything. Something was wrong, but they couldn’t figure out what. They thought maybe infection.

The doctors took her up to the ICU and did an echo and found two holes in her heart and her aorta was narrowed and pinched.

Violet is currently on medication to stop the narrowing until the surgery. Coral and her family will be going to Strong Memorial Hospital and she’ll have her surgery on the 14th, but she’ll be in the hospital for recovery for a while.
Violet was eventually diagnosed with ventricular septal defect and coarctation of the aorta. If she doesn’t have surgery, she will die. If the medicine stops working before she can get into surgery, she could die.
Her surgery will consist of cutting the pinched part of her aorta, sewing it back together, and depending on how that goes, putting the patch on her heart. If not, they’ll have to do a second surgery to put the patch on her heart.

This is obviously extremely anxiety inducing for Coral, who already has her hands full as an essentially single mom taking care of her first born daughter Jaycie while Jaycie's father is away in the military.
Coral won’t be able to get back to work until August or so with the way they’re talking about the recovery, and chances are she will need more than one surgery. She would really appreciate anyone's support with her bills until she can get back to work.

Her family can use all the help she can get when it comes to bills and upkeep.
Any help is appreciated! Thank you in advance for helping this wonderful mother, her newborn, and her family
