Hi, my name is Moth and I'm a 27 year old trans person living in the US. I started hormones in February of 2020 and have regularly gone through long periods where I couldn't afford my medication because of the continuously crumbling economy. Being trans is extremely expensive, especially when you're uninsured, and doctor visits and bloodwork have become impossible to keep up with. I'm deeply dysphoric and It's absolutely ravaging my mental health. Being able to afford nasal reconstruction surgery and keep up with my hormones is something I need to stay alive, and even a dollar helps more than you can imagine.
