Help Corey in his long road to recovery!

Hi! My name is Holly. I'm starting this Go Fund Me for my bestfriend Corey who was in a horrific motorcycle accident! Corey and I became bestfriends when we became partners at work. We're both police officers. I honestly could probably write a book on what his friendship means to me and what kind of person he is but I will try to keep it short. Corey is one of the most selfless people I know. He is the first person to jump up and help someone in need even if he doesn't know them. A lot of people would probably say because it's his job, but it's more than that. If Corey wasn't a police officer he would still want to help because that's who he is. He has an amazing heart! Although Corey can be stubborn and hard headed sometimes, he's a huge softy especially when it comes to his family and friends.

On August 8th, 2021, Corey's life changed in a blink of an eye. Corey was driving home on his motorcycle when he was struck by another vehicle causing him life threatening injuries. How he is still alive today and WALKING is truly a MIRACLE! Corey is the definition of beating all odds. Corey was in the ICU unconscious for 10 days. During that time he underwent multiple surgeries. One of them being 8 hours long. Corey has a LONG road ahead of him with all of his rehab and therapy. The medical bills will be arriving soon and his PTO is running out. I'm hoping this Go Fund Me account will help him focus on getting stronger rather than on the stress of bills. Corey is a fighter and I believe he's shown people just how truly strong he is!
