Help Corey start over after unfortunate circumstances.

At the end of October Corey started a fantastic job opportunity. He had just gotten his license at 18. Corey came into our family’s lives about 8 years ago. Over those 8 years we have grown to love him and have had the pleasure of watching him come to know the Lord. Corey worked hard saved his money to get a car so he could get back and forth to work. Unfortunately due to being at his current job less than three months he did not qualify for a loan. He made the decision to save and buy out of pocket for something reliable for his work commute. Knowing he could upgrade later down the road. I found a car for sale that he decided he like and he bought it on 1/3/25. While driving that car just 20 days later he would experience what we now know is a blown head gasket. We have been advised that the entire motor needs to be replaced. An estimated $4,000-5,000 to do so. He didn’t pay but $3,500 for the car. The repairs are more than the car is worth. Life has certainly had curve balls for Corey and this one stings. I want to help Corey replace his $3,500 he spent out of pocket for this car and start fresh. If you feel led to help him, please do. Please help me help him in this unfortunate situation.
