Corinne started gymnastics when she was 5 years old because she wanted to learn a cartwheel. In 10 short years, she has climbed the ranks in the American gymnastics' community with hard work and determination. She now competes on an international stage for the Philippines. Her journey with the Philippines started in May, where she competed in Manilla and became the #1 ranked gymnast as well as part of the Filipino National Team. At her very first international assignment for the Philippines, she came in 12th at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia. She was the youngest competitor in the field at only 15 years old. The next step in pursuing her Olympic dream is to compete at the World Gymnastics Championship in Doha, Qatar at the end of October. Since Corinne represents the Philippines, they have little to no funding to support their athletes. We are reaching out to all of you to help make her dreams possible. Corinne needs to spend 2 full weeks in Qatar training and competing. The cost for her flights, hotels, food, competition leotards, warm-ups, and coaching expenses will be costly.
What can you do to help Corinne? Her dream is to compete at the 2020 Olympics, in Tokyo, in the all-around gymnastics competition. The international competitions and experiences over the next 2 years will continue to build her confidence and open the doors for her to compete against the best gymnasts in the world. Any amount you contribute will help Corinne reach for the stars. Any extra funds will be used for her other competition expenses this season. Thank you!
