Help Cortney Rebuild After Eaton Fire Loss

My name is Cortney and I was recently impacted by the Eaton Canyon fire.

Altadena stood strong like I knew it would while the fire was moving beyond the golf course. Unfortunately, the high shifting winds, low humidity and other environmental factors did not allow for air craft to strike the fire from above. Firefighters did all they could with what they were given. Unfortunately, most of our town no longer remains.

It feels very strange to post something like this and you never think you'll be in this circumstance (I certainly didn't). Anything helps, truly.

Funds will go toward: temporary housing, fuel, transportation costs, food, toiletries, pet supplies and other necessities. I'm hoping my 2013 car will hold up for my new 42 mile commute

I was able to pack two bags before leaving but it just isn't enough.

This house was built in 1925 and is located in Jane's Village. A community in Altadena with wonderful neighbors, wildlife and historical significance to the San Gabriel Valley. If you've ever visited, you know it's special.
