Help Cory Banks Medical Expenses

As some of you may have heard on Monday, January 16, Cory was taken to the hospital. He was then life-flighted to Clevland Clinic and is in critical condition. Cory has two wonderful children, Dawson and Jada who he loves to the end of the universe. He has gone to all of Dawson's football games and Jada’s cheer and dance and has just been there for them in all of life’s moments. He has been a coach and a huge part of the Tiffin Youth Little League Football in his hometown. Being a mentor to these kids has meant the world to him. Sure, he wants to teach them good football, but he also teaches them life lessons and how to be a good person, teammate and competitor. He became a Father figure to many of these young kids. One young man asked Cory to stand with him when he wins the Heisman Trophy. He has also recruited his nephew, who has a cognitive learning disability, to be his teams water boy so when he is able to play next year he is able to make friends on the team. Cory is a huge advocate for his nephew with disabilities, and all children especially his football players who he loves like his own kids. He loves making tik tok videos with Jada, his daughter and teaching Dawson, his son everything he knows about sports. There is no prouder Father of two beautiful children and entire football teams than Cory. In one video he is telling his team “you are always welcome if you ever need me”. That is Cory, always the caregiver to everyone.

Currently, Cory is in the Cleveland Clinic, which is almost 2 hours away from all of his family, on dialysis and the MARS machine as he is in liver and kidney failure. He has swelling in his brain due to toxins building up, however, the CT Scan has shown normal brain activity. Once off these machines there is a great chance that he will need a partial liver transplant which will mean extended time in the hospital for him. These medical expenses are not anything his family or his children expected so we are asking for the kindness of those who love Cory, to help his children with transportation to be there with their dad along with all the upcoming medical bills.
