As some of you may have heard, Cory was involved in a serious motorcycle crash on December 29th. He does not remember too much of the accident, but does remember swerving to avoid something when he hit a parked truck with his right leg. Cory had an open femur fracture and multiple foot fractures and lost a lot of blood on scene but thankful to a bystander, that had training from the Airforce, she applied pressure and a tourniquet that saved his life. He was transported to Halifax as a Trauma Alert where he was given blood and had surgery within a few hours to repair the femur. With all of this being said, there’s quite a long road ahead for recovery. Cory had been off work due to another medical issue a month before the accident  that used up all of his leave. Cory just bought his first house in August and of course, it comes with a mortgage. With this and mounting medical bills, his mother and I are doing what we can, but Cory could use a little more help. Thank you for taking the time to read this as well as your consideration.
