Help Courtney support KnK at the Tokyo Marathon!

Hi everyone,
My name is Courtney, and I've been selected to participate in the 2024 Tokyo Marathon as a charity runner on behalf of Kokkyo naki Kodomotachi (Children Without Borders). To get this opportunity, I've pledged to fundraise 150,000 yen (~$1090 USD) and would love your support in achieving this goal (or more!). All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to KnK.
About KnK: Kokkyo naki Kodomotachi (KnK) was founded in Tokyo, Japan in 1997 and provides assistance to disadvantaged children and youth across the world through education, job training, natural disaster relief, school reconstruction, youth centers & activities, and more. KnK adopts the UN Declaration of the Rights of the Child. Your support will help children in Cambodia, the Philippines, and Bangladesh in the following ways:
"In Cambodia and the Philippines, we provide food, clothing, shelter, and educational opportunities for street children and children facing difficulties such as abuse and neglect. In Bangladesh, we have also established a drop-in center for street children, providing meals and literacy education."

About me: I have completed just one full marathon before this, and it was one of the biggest physical & mental challenges of my life; however, supporting KnK will be an honor and motivation that'll help me cross the finish.
After reviewing the Tokyo Marathon's long list of charities, I carefully selected KnK because of 2 main reasons: 1) its comprehensive scope of support for children & youth, ranging from urgent Typhoon Haiyan disaster relief in the Philippines to the long-standing House for Youth in Battambang, Cambodia and 2) more importantly, my dear late grandma (Khun Yai) who, for as long as I'd known her, was always supporting low-income children in her local community in Thailand with the education & resources that she lacked while growing up.
Up until the race (March 3, 2024), I will be periodically sharing key activities that KnK has accomplished across the world to support its mission.
Thank you so much for your support!
