Help Renée pay toward surgery relatated to Lupus

    Hi, my name is Heather. I met Renee Swanson 33 years ago in LVN school and we instantly became best of friends. Now she's the Godmother of my children. 

    The goal is to cover the costs of her second ankle fusion surgery. She has already conquered over 30 surgeries.

    At the age of 28 she was diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disease where her body attacks her joints and organs. It also causes very slow healing after surgery. 

    Renée is a Lupus Warrior! After being an awesome and talented RN nurse for 26 years, 

she had to stop partly because of the Lupus. Nowadays, even with pain and limitations, she fights through it and helps anyone in need, anyway she can.  She's determined NOT to let Lupus win! 

    Your donations will cover the hospital, surgeon, physical therapy, MRI, x-ray and lab Co-pays. Also an out of pocket, Dr. Prescribed joint cooling device that will be placed during surgery. If we surpass the goal, all additional funds will be applied to monthly maintenance lupus medications.
